About Me

Hi. Nirav here. I created this website, and started a Youtube channel to share my talent with the world. And by "share," I don't mean upload videos and do nothing else. I want to teach. As a kid, learning to play the guitar felt slow and boring. It became a chore that I forced myself to do because my parents were playing for lessons. Hours of strumming to familiar songs wasn't too rewarding. Then. I stopped taking lessons. For a couple years, I didin't even touch my guitar.

Then, I was introduced to YouTube. I spent hours watching fingerstyle guitarists perform my favorite songs, replicating them with just their instrument. The sight of them playing so differently gave me a freedom from the mundane path of traditional guitar-playing.

I taught myself from the basics. Today, I can play most songs by ear, and have total recall of every piece I've arranged. I can write tabs and hope to do so and give them to my viewers. EVERY SINGLE ONE OF MY TABS IS FREE. I will never charge for access to my content. I aim to be a teacher, because I know I there are a lot of people out there, just like me, who want to learn to play fingerstyle guitar.
